Black butterfly

That's what I call my depression.
It keeps me from believing on myself, from talking to others, taking pleasure on things I used to enjoy and basically reach out.

I'm going to a really great therapist since just a couple of weeks and I have started to feel better but also old wounds are getting open.
Maybe blogging will help.

Monochromes

After a really long absence I'm back.
I want to catch up on everything I've miss and visit all your blogs.
These are not very new pictures, I took them in England a few months ago.
I'm loving the monochromes.

The gorgeous and talented Bronwen and I had the Theme "Parallel"
Bron lives in Australia and is a talented Photographer with wonderful self portraits please visit her here
I love the play of sunshine and parallel shadows on her picture!I went more for the look of parallel as in parallel lives, trying to reflect it with a double exposure. Somehow I really like to do that with my pictures lately with the double exposure or overlay feature on my Nikon.

Romance

I wanted to do something light, feminine and romantic to match Pia's picture.
I love her style. I confess I saw her picture first and then I did mine but sometimes is good to break the rules.
The blossoms posture kind of echoes on Pia's hand on the background and her gracefulness.

Romance for me is the essence of love. You can still love without romance but it would be like a beautiful flower robbed of its perfume, still pretty but not complete.

Grace

Grace
For the Divine diptych project

Left: The awesome Sarah Schloo
Right: me

We where assigned with the theme "Grace" and Sarah gave me his lovely Polaroid. There is something lovely about the softness of tones and light on Polaroids I just adore!
Mine is not a real Polaroid I wish I could get film, is so hard to find... but I did try a frame on it.
